Vegetarian Cooking & "Crying in H Mart" Book discussion

Our Board member Kate Wentland will co-host with ReconciliAsian a Vegetarian Cooking Group event in combination with a book discussion.
We will cook Korean food and discuss "Crying in H-Mart" by Michelle Zauner. If you haven't heard of the book, it's a recent bestselling memoir about "family, food, grief, and endurance." Check out this interview and this podcast episode.

Sue Park-Hur will host at her home in Pasadena on Sept 18. It will be an outdoor, masked event in her backyard. We will cook a few dishes from the book as well as some Korean dishes Sue remembers her mom cooking.
