We're Eight!

ReconciliAsian Store is open!

We are very excited to announce the grand opening of our online ReconciliAsian Store.  To celebrate the 8th anniversary of our organization, we have launched our store where you can find shirts, calendars, postcards and posters by Asian North American artists.

Some of you have asked about the design of our shirt and what it means. The logo in the front represents the two capitalized letters in "ReconciliAsian." The two letters look like two chairs facing each other around the table to show that reconciliation can be possible when the two parties do the hard work of naming the truth, acknowledging the injustices, be willing to repair the harm and and seek new ways to be with one another and the larger community.

The back of the shirt has four Korean consonants,ㅎㅎㅅㅌ, an acronym for "hwahye center" which translates to "reconciliation center." Underneath the Korean letters, there is a line,"Your Stories Matter" to communicate that in order for true peace and reconciliation, we need to know our stories- our personal as well as the historical, cultural, and biblical stories that are interwoven into us. And we also need to know the multi-layered stories of our enemies.

If you are interested in purchasing any of our merchandise, there is a 10% promotion code that is good until Februray 14thfgbmp6
